That was a great post. My husband and I have been eating mostly organically for many, many years. I have a Ph.D.-in-Science friend who always needs to know the studies behind everything. Whether there actually are any or not to confirm your beliefs, it really does make you wonder... I mean, REALLY, is it so hard to believe that these pesticides/hormones/GM foodstuffs are harming us? NO! Heck, they sure can't be helping us, so why would I want to eat it? Also, you put me to shame that I'm finding it hard to find the time to eat solely locally with only 2 little ones. Organic is one thing, local is another! This site DOES make it easier though, it's so helpful learning where to buy products from people who already know!

Audrey - thanks so much for sharing your story of why you got into this idea of local foods - and I will be anxious to learn what you learn about the process.
