New resource from NOFA-NH

The New Hampshire branch of the Northeast Organic Farming Association has unveiled a new resource, available in print and on the web.

The web version is [1] here. An interesting point to note is that they’ve chosen to include not only certified organic growers but also growers who say they follow the practices and tenets of organic growing but choose not to certify. In other words: buyer beware - not everyone listed here is organic.  Fortunately, when you are buying locally you can have the sort of in depth conversation about these gray areas, visit farms, lend a hand, and really get to know what is going on.

You can get a print version of the brochure/map by calling NOFA-NH at 603.224.5022 or emailing info@nofanh.org
