I had the opportunity to see the mobile processing unit in action today. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, efficiency, and attention to detail and safety that the operator, Ray of Cabin View Farm in Littleton NH, clearly designed into the system and is very passionate about. I really enjoy these fresh birds, the flavor is very delicious, and I am happy to report their journey from life to meat is quick, respectful, and very very clean. If anyone has questions about this process and would like to hear more, please email me at sarazoe@seacoasteatlocal.org

Like Spiderman, I love fresh sweet corn. The season has arrived and all the ears of corn I’ve had so far have been amazing — very sweet and super fresh and corn-y tasting. Seacoast Harvest has a list of area farms that sell sweet corn.
