Local, sustainable agriculture (v. agriculture on unsustainable scales at great distance) has a strong role to play in our efforts to bring carbon emissions back down. Here’s an opportunity to learn more about that connection and enjoy a great meal:
To bring people together around the International Day of Climate Action on Saturday October 24, the Exeter Congregational Church (home of previous Seacoast Eat Local Winter Farmers’ Markets) is putting on an All Local Food Church Supper prepared by Chef Ted McCormack. The evening will feature a locally sourced hearty meal, beverages and dessert and will include musical entertainment and a photo exhibit illustrating how local residents are reducing their carbon footprints all around Exeter.
