Local, sustainable agriculture (v. agriculture on unsustainable scales at great distance) has a strong role to play in our efforts to bring carbon emissions back down. Here’s an opportunity to learn more about that connection and enjoy a great meal:
To bring people together around the [2] International Day of Climate Action on Saturday October 24, the [3] Exeter Congregational Church (home of previous Seacoast Eat Local Winter Farmers’ Markets) is putting on an All Local Food Church Supper prepared by Chef Ted McCormack. The evening will feature a locally sourced hearty meal, beverages and dessert and will include musical entertainment and a photo exhibit illustrating how local residents are reducing their carbon footprints all around Exeter.
