The latest [1] recall of beef strikes close to home with the most recent reports of E. coli-related illness coming from New England, including one death in New Hampshire. Fortunately, there’s comfort to be found in eating locally. Purchasing directly from local farmers is a secure way of knowing where your food comes from.

Many farms here in the Seacoast offer locally raised meat, including beef, a selection of which may be found at our upcoming series of [2] Winter Farmers’ Markets. Additional information is available through our guide and website, [3] Seacoast Harvest, and also at [4] Local Harvest.

Know your farmer, know your food.
