The next [1] York County Farmers’ Network meeting is coming up, Tuesday, March 23rd:

Program: Please join us for an informal evening with the Farm Service Agency (FSA) and Congresswoman Chellie Pingree’s office. Learn about new and ongoing loan programs, the Farm Storage Facility Loan program, permanent disaster assistance program (SURE), and FSA insurance (NAP) for crops not insurable under federal crop insurance. There will also be an opportunity for informal discussions and to learn more about existing federal cost share programs, and to ask questions of the Congresswoman’s office regarding the farm bill.

Potluck Supper – The meeting will begin at 5:30 PM with a Potluck Harvest Supper and social time. The program itself will begin at approximately 6:30 PM.
