The NH Farm Museum has some great events on its calendar. Here are two we haven’t shared with you yet.

October 2  Harvest Day 10 am-4 pm
Horse-drawn hayrides, harvest activities and fall fun. Press apples to make cider, try a Johnny cake, enjoy some pumpkin pie and help with the harvest. Kids can make a candle, paint a gourd, and play pumpkin games.

October 3  The Great NH Pie Festival 12 noon – 4pm
Bakers and bakeries from all over New Hampshire serve up their best pie for you to taste.  Enjoy all you can eat of all sorts of pie and vote on your favorite at this benefit event. Bring a pie to enter in our pie baking contest and win a prize. Enjoy music, hayrides, the kids apple pie eating contest, visiting the historic farmhouse and meeting the farm animals.  $10 adult, $5 child
