Annual Spring Open House & Open Farm Weekend

[1] Join us at Jenness Farm for our Annual Spring Open House and Open Farm Weekend — help us welcome the new 2011 babies! Just hatched chicks will be here to see…if you can get past the dog, Rhun. It’s his job to herd those chicks and he takes his work very seriously! He’ll also have his frisbee ready for anyone who would like to throw it for him.

There are many things so see including the new 2011 baby goats, chicks, sheep, new piglets, guinea hens, chickens and more. We have some new vendors joining us this year with a great variety of things to sample and purchase. 

Face painting will be available and samples of goat milk, goat milk fudge, jams and jellies, gourmet cupcakes and more to try and buy. Cider donuts will be available for purchase and that alone is worth the trip!!!

The event is free and we will have restroom facilities available.

Don’t miss this as we only open the farm twice a year for tours. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it out on the lawn. Be prepared to share some with the turkeys and chickens roaming around the farm.
