“In the Kitchen” Workshop:
Feeding Families from the Farmers’ Fields
Exeter Congregational Church, 21 Front St, Exeter, NH
Friday, April 29, 2011
6:30–8 p.m.
The NOFA-NH Education Commitee is sponsoring a workshop in Exeter on Friday, April 29th from 6:30-8:00: “Feeding Families from the Farmers’ Fields.” Bring children with you: kids, grandkids, neighbors. We will have hands-on cooking demos for all ages, take-home recipes, and advice. While we eat what we make, we’ll talk about the challenges and rewards of cooking for a healthy family. We ask for a $5 suggested donation ($15 max per family), and no one will be turned away.
Tracey Miller, Holistic Health and Wellness Counselor, will be providing leadership for the event, which is co-sponsored by Citizens for Community Wellness. The menu will revolve around organic, local foods available on the seacoast this spring. Join us at the Exeter Congregational Church, 21 Front Street, in Exeter.
